Light Show

Curated by Sharjah Art Foundation Director Hoor Al Qasimi and Curator at Hayward Gallery Dr Cliff Lauson, Light Show explores how we experience and physiologically respond to illumination and color and its attendant conceptual and political concerns. This travelling exhibition, originally organised by the Hayward Gallery in London, was hosted in Sharjah by the Sharjah Art Foundation. This booklet accompanied the exhibition and includes a foreword from Al Qasimi, a text by Helen Luckett, as well as descriptions of the works on view.
